Creating RAIDlog with Dell 32-bit diagnostic

1. Create bootable USB stick via 32-bit diagnostic

Download - 32 Bit Diags V5158

2. Unpack the attached file /password: dell/

3. Create folder named TTY on USB stick with 32-bit diag

4. MegaCLI.exe file copy to TTY folder on USB with 32-bit diagnostic

Download - MegaCLI 8.07.14

5. Boot server from created USB stick, choose option 4 to get into command line and type C:

6. Enter TTY folder on USB (dir -> cd TTY)

7. and than the subfolder DOS ( dir -> cd DOS)

8. Type commands:

MegaCli.exe –AdpEventLog –IncludeDeleted –f EventLog.txt -aALL

MegaCli.exe -FwTermLog -Dsply –aALL > ttylog.txt

MegaCli.exe -AdpEventLog -GetEvents –f events.txt -aAll

MegaCli.exe –PDList –aALL > disk.txt

MegaCli.exe –AdpAllInfo –aALL > log.txt

MegaCli.exe –AdpBbuCmd – aALL > Battery.txt

Maximum ammount of digits for the file should be 8 (adding {.txt} doesnt count).

Generated files you can find on the USB in TTY folder.
